Way to Go

  • Gregīs appearance: Caring

  • 2 Scenes: with the team

  • Shippyness: G/G

  • What we learn about him:
  • Misc.:
Events:

First Scene:
INT. DESERT PALMS HOSPITAL - OR WAITING ROOM -- DAY:
Grissom comes to the hospital and talks to Greg about Brass.

Second Scene:
INT. DESERT PALMS HOSPITAL - BRASS' ROOM - NIGHT:
Brass is awake and off the ventilator. Grissom is standing next to him. Behind him in the hallway, the CSIs and Dr. Robbins wait, smile and wave to him. Brass nods and waves back. Catherine smiles, turns and hugs Dr. Robbins. Sara is hugging Warrick. Greg turns around and hugs Catherine.

Best Dialog:
Greg: "Brass just went into surgery...You two have known each other for a long time."
Grissom: "We've worked together ever since he came from New Jersey."
Greg: "Just between you and me, does he always wear a suit? Like when you guys go to dinner, the movies or whatever it is you do when you hang out. 'Cause I got to tell you, thought of him in a sweater kind of freaks me out."
Grissom: "We don't "hang out," Greg."
Greg: "No kidding. I just assumed ..."

My Comment:
The lack of scenes with Greg becomes more and more annoying. Certainly, it was nice to see him with Grissom (cute and funny moment but way too short) but thatīs not enough. I read on a board Greg is only a shadow of what he was before. This is so right!!!
What else is there to say? Iīm glad Brass is going to be okay. Hodges and Nick had one wonderful moment.
Nick: "Hey, you checking out my waist?"
Hodges: "I'm a 32-incher myself. Same as in college."
Nick: "Oh. Congratulations."
Hodges: "Women aren't the only ones who feel the pressure to look good. Time was, having a rotund belly was a sign of prosperity and success. Now it just means you're a lazy glutton, not getting any."
Nick: "Fibers."
The last scene with Grissom and Sara came across as stuck on. It just didnīt feel right. Bad, bad writing. Season six left me perfectly unsatisfied. I fear my love for CSI is going to die soon.
