Greg reads the test results to Catherine.
Second Scene:
INT. CSI -- HALLWAY:
Greg and Grissom walk down the hallway. Grissom looks through a file while Greg reports to him.
Third Scene:
INT. CSI - DNA LAB:
Greg hands the results to Catherine.
Fourth Scene:
INT. CSI - DNA LAB:
Greg tells Sara the results over the phone.
Best Dialog:
Greg: "Did you know that some doctors believe that oral bacteria have no other benefits than to make it impossible for other more vicious bacteria to take up residence in our mouths?"
Grissom: "I knew that, Greg."
Greg: "So, then I should just stop trying to impress you."
Grissom: "That would impress me."
My Comment:
Once more the moment between Greg and Grissom stands out from the rest. Greg lectures Grissom and the boss snaps, "I knew, that, Greg." Finally his obvious longing to impress the master is vocalized. Iīm touched. Grissomīs reply is superb.
Sara says "thanks" to him.
Itīs David Hodgesī first appearance which caught my pure attention in this episode. He has a perfect start to make himself unpopular with the team.
"Didn't beep you to say hi", he snaps at Sara. Sara stays cool and calls him a lab rat.
"Iīm not done", he calls after Grissom when he starts to leave. "I know what you're thinking", he continues to annoy Grissom.
"You're the new guy", is Grissomīs demure statement.
"Yeah. Uh, David Hodges. Transferred from LAPD. They said I had an attitude problem. Said that I thought I was entitled."
LOL! I liked Hodges right from the start.
