First Scene:
INT. CSI - LAB -- NIGHT:
Grissom and Warrick have a vocal argument. Greg and other office workers come out of their labs to see what's going on. Warrick leaves the lab.
Second Scene:
INT. CSI - LAB / HALLWAY:
Nick walks through the hallway carrying a file folder. Greg leans on the door frame and calls out to him. He motions for Nick to come into his lab. Greg asks Nick why he is taking Archie out into the field, instead of him. Nick explains to Greg who understands.
Third Scene:
INT. CSI - LAB HALLWAY -- NIGHT:
Greg is leaning against the door talking with a lab tech. She's giggling at something he says. Grissom and Warrick walk down the hallway toward him. Grissom asks Greg a question. Greg makes a joke. The girl giggles. She stops when she looks at Grissom. Warrick hands the evidence baggie to Greg and asks him to get some DNA off. The girl walks away. Grissom reminds Greg he is here to work.
Best Dialogs:
Greg: "Look, I thought that we had a relationship. What are you doing taking Archie out into the field, instead of me?"
Nick: "It's the right tool for the right job, man. You have to understand the world you're investigating. Hey, Archie."
Archie: "Yeah?"
Nick: "Hey, what's that star trek episode where the guy's got the forehead thingy, and the time portal...?"
Archie: "In Classic, TNG, DS9, Voyager or Enterprise?"
Greg: "Point taken."
Grissom: "Greg. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?"
Greg: "The world may never know."
Warrick: "Just see if you can get some DNA off of this stick, would you?"
Greg: "All work and no play make Greg a dull boy..."
Grissom: "All play and no work make Greg an unemployed boy."
My Comment:
Greg witnesses Warrick´s heated argument with Grissom. Greg is jealous of Nick taking Archie out into the field instead of him. Is he distressed by the two events? On the contrary. He flirts with a girl from the lab. Now, Grissom looks downright jealous when he catches Greg flirting. Grissom glares at the girl. She flies. Greg stays in good spirits even when Grissom threatens him with the prospect of losing his job. Greg knows Grissom doesn´t really mean it. They will make up later. Alone.
The "tootsie pop question" cracks me up every time.
