First Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
Greg listens to various testimonies.
Second Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
Sofia is on the stand. Greg listens to her testimony.
Third Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
Stanley Tanner is on the stand. Greg listens to his testimony.
Fourth Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
Robbins is on the stand. Greg listens to his testimony.
Fifth Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
Nick is on the stand. Greg listens to his testimony.
Sixth Scene:
INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE COURTROOM - DAY:
Greg meets up with Sofia and talks to her.
Seventh Scene:
INT. COURTHOUSE – BATHROOM -- DAY:
Greg walks into the bathroom and leans against the sink as he looks at himself in the mirror. Greg runs the faucet, washes his hands and wets his face. The door opens and Aaron James, the brother of the man he accidentally killed, walks in. He lingers in the doorway and watches Greg. He attacks him verbally. Greg says nothing. Aaron James walks toward him. Greg turns and looks at him, still saying nothing. A man walks in and heads for the faucets. He walks between them. Aaron James backs away and leaves.
Eighth Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
Greg is sworn in and makes a statement.
Ninth Scene:
INT. COURTROOM - DAY:
The jury has reached a verdict. The death of Demitrius James was excusable and Greg is free to go.
Tenth Scene:
EXT. COURTHOUSE – FRONT STEPS -- DAY:
Greg exits the courthouse and is questioned by a reporter. Stanley Tanner, the man whose life he saved, joins him.
Eleventh Scene:
EXT. GARDEN’S RESIDENCE – NIGHT:
Greg meets with Grissom and Sara to tell them he takes off.
Twelfth Scene:
INT. CSI – PARKING GARAGE:
Greg is on his way to his car. A car engine starts and revs. He looks up and
sees Aaron James sitting behind a driver’s wheel revving the engine. A man walks up to Greg and hands him some papers. It is a civil complaint for a wrongful death. Greg turns around and looks at Aaron James behind the car wheel. Aaron James guns the engine and the car surges forward, tires screeching and headed straight toward Greg. Greg steps aside as the car passes him.
Best Dialog:
Greg: "Hey, boss, unless you need me for something, I'm gonna take off."
Grissom: "Yeah. Take off that suit, too. - And Greg...you did a good job."
Greg: "I'm glad you think so."
My Comment:
"This isn't a trial, it's a circus," Greg says at one point and he is so right. Life isn´t fair and even the most innocent human being can get into a lot of trouble if only by chance. It´s comforting to see how cool Greg stays in court (Lab boy is talking!) and with the provocative brother of the dead man. He is the man.
Grissom tries to encourage Greg. But again he makes it clear he doesn´t like to see Greg in a suit.
The way ("I know that look. You just figured something out. Come on, share. Please?") Hodges talks to Grissom amazes me once more.
