Innuendo:
Jack looks broken. He wants Gwen gone. "I can't look at her anymore", he says.
Is it because she cries the tears for Ianto, he doesn't allow himself to cry?
Because she reminds him of how broken he feels.
He asks Gwen to tell Ianto's sister about Ianto's fate. He can't do it.
Asks for a moment of grace. Asks Gwen to save Ianto's family. That's most important to him.

Jack paid with dearest blood to save Earth. Ianto. His grandson. The love of his daughter.
He travels to all sorts of places to heal. He has no intention to come back to Earth.

How many times does Jack die?
None. Does heartbreak count?
Gwen:
She weeps for Ianto. Looks heart-broken. Does not let anyone question his lifestyle now that he is not here anymore to speak for himself.
She tells Ianto's sister about his passing. She learns that Ianto had lied about his father. He hadn't been a master tailor.
He worked at the department store chain Debenhams. Gwen and Rhys get Ianto's family into hiding. They run for their lives. They get caught.
They are safe at last. Six months later Gwen begs Jack to stay on Earth for her. He says no. Well, she has Rhys and her baby. She is the lucky one.
My Comment:
The saddest episode ever. Ianto dead. Jack destroyed by loses too much to bear. Suspenseful. Yeah. Soulful. Haunting even.
Yet I don't want to watch this nightmare ever again. Period.
