Ianto: Breaks the lock of the abandoned Torchwood holding facility. Smiles at the team. Sits on a sofa. Watches a fire burning. Pouts at the situation. Wisecracks. Gets a message to his family. Assembles guns and stuff with the team. Tells them about the Torchwood software being still intact. Pretends to be a waiter to steal credit cards. Pretends to fight with Rhys to distract the people around. Shops for the team. Works at the computer. Downloads spy software. Talks to Jack. Searches the Internet. Gives latest information to Jack. Takes a call from Gwen. Gives her a challenging task. Shares more information with Jack. Shares information with Rhys. Runs with Rhys up to the roof of the facility building. Looks with Rhys at Thames House. Watches the aliens arrive. Watches the News with Rhys. Snaps at Clem. Checks on the lenses. Says the lenses are online. Watches on through the lenses of the contact. Reads what the contact writes. Listens to Jack telling them what he had done. Janto: Ianto pouts at Jack because he complains about his clothes. Jack pats Ianto's knee. Ianto keeps his feelings under wrap. Gets a new army coat for Jack. Jack is overwhelmed. Ianto smiles. Aplauds to Jack all dressed up again. Asks Jack how it felt to be blown up. Makes a pass on him. Accepts that there is no time. Takes Jack's impatience and yelling. Ianto wants Jack to tell him what is going on. Jack runs out. Not giving him any explanation. Ianto stays put. Looks horrified when Jack's secret is revealed.

Jack: "Rhys, d'you wanna take the car and go to those shops, down by the Wharf? We need some disks for these things.
Should take about... 20 minutes?"
Ianto: "30 minutes."
Jack: "30."
Rhys: "I'll go later, the beans are almost done!"
Jack: "The beans are almost done."
Ianto: "Bloody beans."

Ianto: "Could you get him out?"
Gwen: "How am I supposed to do that?"
Ianto: "You were a policewoman."
Gwen: "Oh, okay, bloody hell, anything else while I'm at it?"
Ianto: "Filet steak would be nice."
Gwen: "Yeah, don't push it."

Clem: "And who's the queer?"
Ianto: "Oi!" - "It's not 1965 anymore."
Clem: "He's queer. I can smell it."

Rhys: "Took me a while to get used to those things."
Ianto: "What, you've used the lenses?"
Rhys: "Yeah. That's why Gwen had them."
Gwen: "I only took them home for a bit of fun."
Ianto: "Fun?"
Gwen: "Yeah."
Rhys: "You know, fun."
Ianto: "Yeah, well been there, done that. It is fun."
Rhys & Gwen: "Yeah."

Innuendo:
Ianto is still the good boy. He provides Jack with a new coat. He keeps his feelings under wrap when Jack touches him
only smiles when Jack praises him or aplauds to Jack all dressed up again. Wants to talk about feelings and wants to make out.
When it's not happening, he complains a bit, but that's it. He takes it like a man and goes back to business. Even when Jack
gets pissy and shouts at him for no obvious reason, he keeps cool. He feels that Jack knows more then he says. He knows that
Jack struggles with something. He even asks Jack to tell him. Yet Jack runs out without giving him any explanation.
Ianto stays put, collects information, reminisces and jokes about sexual fun with Gwen and Rhys. Well. He will never have
the trust and the intimacy those two have in his relationship with Jack. Yet he looks fine with it. Though when Jack's
secret is revealed after all, he looks shocked to the core.

Cheers for their contact helping them. Smiles at Ianto because they were having the same kind of fun with their lovers.

My Comment:
Suspense. Feelings. Drama. Keeps you on the edge. I was satisfied with Ianto's screentime and and his actions in general.
Such as speaking up when he was called a queer.
Him asking Jack for a making out session was hilarious. Sadly, once again, nothing happened, no kiss or hug, or intimacy,
only a pat on the knee. Bummer! There was time, wasn't there? So, we are left with many profound looks and talks.
I liked those, too, but I wanted more. Seriously. We deserved more. Yeah. A good episode. I only wished... you know what.
The reward for all the suffering. Uh... bloody hell! As if! The worst is yet to come.
