Ianto: Activates a computer screen. Laughs with the studio audience. Puts a hand over his mouth. Feels for Martha. Goes off the computer. Sits alone. Waits for the end. Jumps up and heads back to the computer. Listens to the message. Looks glad that Martha is still around. Listens to Jack. Transmits. Plugs in a big power cable. Makes a comment about the Doctor's age. Reports to Gwen. Asks Gwen to take over the controls. Says good-bye. Swallows. Moves around. Types. Takes a machine gun. Aims and fires. Janto: Ianto laughs with the studio audience about a joke on TV. Jack bawls at Ianto for laughing. Ianto is fine with it. Jack touches Ianto's shoulder. Ianto keeps looking at Jack. Jack looks at Ianto. Ianto asks Jack a question. Jack kisses Ianto. Jack says they are dead. Ianto marvels about Jack saluting. Ianto gapes at Jack. Jack asks Ianto to come over and take the controls. Ianto helps Jack into his coat. Ianto plays it cool when Jack leaves to fight against the Daleks.

Innuendo:
Ianto and Jack are in a solid relationship. There is no reason for Ianto to be jealous about a random soldier or Jack's deep emotions for Gwen.
Though the grief over the loss of Tosh and Owen is still palpable between the three companions. Ianto tries to repress his concern for Jack.
Jack pretends he has no concern for Ianto's safeness whatsoever.

My Comment:
A solid episode with a few nice moments, but I'm not into Dr. Who. Never was. Sorry.
