Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang

Ianto: Hunts a blowfish. Points a gun at him. Deals with the body. Calls for a taxi. Collects John´s guns. Attends a team meeting. Searches an office. Is threatened by John Hart. Saves Tosh, Owen and Gwen. Switches his stopwatch on to count the seconds until John Hart is going to explode. Helps to save Gwen. Janto: Jack shoots a blowfish for Ianto. Jack says he came back for him. Ianto looks shy and confused. Ianto is jealous of John Hart. Jack asks Ianto on a date. Ianto says yes. Ianto is full of joy when John Hart´s life is in danger. Ianto has to watch John kissing Jack before he leaves.

Ianto: "The rift was active at these coordinates approximately two hundred feet above ground. That means this floor or the roof."
Jack: "How are you, Ianto?"
Ianto: "All the better for having you back, sir ..."
Jack: "Can we maybe drop the sir, now? While I was away, I was thinking ... maybe we could, you know, when this is all done ... dinner? A movie?"
Ianto: "Are you asking me out on a date?"
Jack: "Interested?"
Ianto: "Well ... as long as it's not in an office. Some fetishes should be kept to yourself."
Jack: "Looks like we're gonna have to go through every drawer, bin and plant pot."
Ianto: "Right. Okay. I'll do this floor, don't want you getting overexcited, and you take the roof. You're good on roofs." - "Jack? Why are we helping him?"
Jack: "He's a reminder of my past. I want him gone." - "By the way ... was that a yes?"
Ianto: "Yes! Yes."


Innuendo:
Ianto missed Jack. Jack missed Ianto. He came back for him. But Ianto doesn´t trust Jack. He acts shy and cautious.
At that he has to watch John Hart being all over Jack. The offer to going on a date comes as a surprise for Ianto.
He accepts but stays pretty cool anyway. He wants Jack but he doesn´t want to be one lover between many.

Ianto and Gwen learned to like and trust each other very much. Ianto saves Gwen, Owen and Tosh.

My Comment:
This is one of my all time favourite episodes. Love and fun and suspense. Ianto is seen a lot. Janto moments all around.
I really love Ianto, but I love James Marsters, too. He is sooo hot and cool. His character John Hart is genius.
Sadly I have to say that he would have Ianto for breakfast anytime. Ianto is just not the type of a cold-blooded killer.
The office scene between Ianto and Jack has one of the best dialogs ever. Office romance! LOL!
Ianto´s jealousy of John is played wonderfully understated. His eye roll is epic. That John calls him eye candy is
the button on the top and fits Ianto perfectly. In the end Ianto gloats about John´s life being in danger. Well!
He´s only human.
