First Scene:
INT. CSI - HALLWAY:
Greg rushes up to Grissom, test results in his hand. He demands a decision from his boss considering him being in the lab or in the field. Grissom says as soon as Greg can find and train a replacement in the lab, he can be in the field. Satisfied, Greg tells him the test results. Grissom winks at Greg and walks away. Greg is happy and utters a joyful Yes.
Second Scene:
INT. CSI - DNA LAB:
Greg tests the swab sample.
Third Scene:
INT. CSI - DNA LAB:
Grissom, Catherine and Nick walk in. Greg reports to them.
Fourth Scene:
INT. CSI -- LAB:
Catherine and Grissom discuss the evidence. Greg opens the sliding door and gives his report.
Best Dialogs:
Greg: "Grissom, I have some information that will be of use to you. But, before you get it, I need a decision."
Grissom: "What?"
Greg: "I'm tired of being on the fence here. Either I'm in the lab or I'm in the field. Which is it?"
Grissom: "Well, as soon as you can find and train a replacement, you can be in the field. Until then, I need you in the lab. Now give."
Greg: "Well, according to the DNA results, Todd Coombs is not your rapist."
Catherine: "You're kidding."
Greg: "There's only seven out of thirteen, which means we're looking for a sibling."
Grissom: "I believe the semen would indicate a brother." My Comment:
The way how Greg confronts Grissom, because he doesn´t like to be on the fence anymore, is a delight. Greg´s demanding speech (he has nerve) and Grissom´s positive reaction is a surprise. Grissom approves the request and grants: I need you in the lab. His snappy Now give is superb. He also says thanks.
Greg´s visible and audible joy is understandable. I´m happy for him.
Surprisingly, Grissom´s mild teasing mood remains:
Greg: "There's only seven out of thirteen, which means we're looking for a sibling."
Grissom: "I believe the semen would indicate a brother." OOOOOOh.
To my purest delight, Greg´s changed his hair color again. It´s lighter again. I like it much more this way. I like it a lot.
Season four lacks of Greg/Grissom scenes. But in the end I´m ready to forgive. The last three episodes were a pleasure for my shipper heart. I hope Greg will be permanently in the field next season. I hope he will be frequently with Grissom next season. In the field and wherever.
