First Scene:
INT. CSI - GREG'S LAB -- NIGHT:
Grissom enters and asks Greg about the results about the silver flecks he had found. Greg does and Grissom seems impressed with the thoroughness of Gregīs research. But then Grissom is irritated because Greg has already shared this information with Sara and leaves in a huff. Greg is puzzled. Second Scene:
INT. CSI - LAB:
Greg stands next to the glass wall to the lab. He faces the large wall monitor that shows what Nick is working on inside the room on the computer. Nick invites him to come in. Greg helps Nick with his case. Third Scene:
INT. CSI - GARAGE - NIGHT:
Sara opens the car trunk and uses her flashlight to look inside. Behind her, Greg walks in. He hands Sara the test results. She reads it and checks the screw-like handle at the bottom on the trunk. Best Dialog:
Grissom: "You've, uh, already shared this information with Sara?"
Greg: "Yeah, an hour ago. And she was way more fascinated than you are."
Grissom: "Well, I'm somewhat fascinated by the fact that I'm your boss, but you talked to her first."
Greg: "Well, you were at dinner."
Grissom: "I've been in the lab all day, Greg." My Comment:
A very good episode with shocking human behavior as well as interesting shipper moments.
Greg and Grissom. Oh boy. Greg talks to Sara first and Grissom becomes angry. Thatīs something to keep in mind forever. I wrote a missing scene story (DEVOTED) at once after seeing this moment.
Why exactly is Grissom angry? Greg did good work. At first, Grissom even smiles at Greg. No surprise. Greg looks gorgeous. His haircut is fabulous, his smile irresistible and he impresses Grissom with helpful results. It goes well until the second Greg mentions Saraīs name.
So? Is Grissom angry because Greg smiles when he talks about Sara and Grissom is jealous? Is Grissom angry because Greg talks to her first and Grissom is the boss? Itīs quite possible you know. Grissomīs horoscope sign is Leo. People with this sign never like to come second. They always want to come first. They need to be the best and only.
Is Grissom angry because he likes to have Greg for himself and Gregīs crush on Sara irritates him pretty much?
Again, Greg is very naive. He certainly suspects Grissom feels something for Sara. So what was he thinking? Does he provoke Grissom even on purpose? That would be neat.
Greg and Sara.
Sara: "I've been looking for you."
Grissom: "Well, it's hard to see me if you and Greg are out ahead of me."
Sara: "Oh, uh, sorry about that."
Grissomīs anger confuses her. She just doesnīt see Greg as a love interest yet and canīt understand whatīs going on with Grissom. It becomes perfectly clear in the scene with her and Greg alone in the garage where he tries to flirt with her but she stays absolutely professional.
Itīs obvious, Greg gives her the results first to endear himself to her. Clever.
Greg and Nick. In the first shot in the scene you can see Greg still looks sad. Grissomīs reproval has put him in a bad mood. Isnīt that sweet?
Nick notices him hanging around and invites him in.
"So I heard about your cold maggot," Greg starts the conversation. From whom please? His adored boss? His love interest Sara?
Nick is very nice to him and lets him help with the case, building up Gregīs self- confidence. Greg is smiling again although I think Nickīs approval doesnīt matter as much as Grissomīs to Greg. My poor boy. He did nothing wrong and still he get dressed down.
